Belpile were involved in an install only capacity for the piling associated with a temporary noise wall and the permanent basement retention piling. A combination of pile sizes including 300mm, 350mm and 600mm were installed with a light weight 12t machine to avoid the need for a costly sacrificial working platform. Noise constraints also required a significant portion of the works to be undertaken over weekends. Piles were installed with a combination of open bore and CFA techniques to accommodate the groundwater levels across the site.
