Belpile undertook design and construction of the ground retention system required to support excavation of a 4 level basement, with excavation depths up to 14m. Over 300 No CFA piles and 250 temporary ground anchors using the self drilling (hollow bar) technique were installed. Belpile utilised our light weight CF6 machine to install piles on the steeply sloping portions of the site over multiple benches. Ground anchors were installed over 3 levels, working in closely with the bulk excavation and shotcreting.
