Belpile were engaged to undertake design and construction of crane foundation piles within an existing heritage building, working within headroom as low as 2.5m. Our in house engineering team undertook re-design of the proposed scheme to ensure suitability for our Hutte HBR203 machine. The piling equipment was lifted into the basement via crane through multiple floor penetrations. Piling was installed using sectional CFA techniques with spliced reinforcing cages installed full depth. Belpile successfully completed the project on time and within budget.
